What Water Resistance Ratings Really Mean for Replica Watches?

For those, a bit foggy on the details, the 2017 Autavia’s 42mm steel case houses the Heuer Calibre 02 automatic chronograph movement alongside an aluminum bezel, 100m water resistance, and a love-or-hate application of faux tanned lume.

This Flygraf comes full set, something we see rarely (let’s be honest, Yema was never a top-end brand in France but rather, more of a utilitarian one, so original box and papers were not often kept and preserved by the owners). The dial design also manages to be pleasantly harmonious, by effectively turning the day-date display into a 4th sub-register, framed in the grey V-shape that surrounds the two other counters. The bezel is in good condition, while the case-back still exhibits the Yema emblem, and the serial numbers are deeply engraved.

The front dial is described by JLC as a slate grey, but I’d be much more inclined to refer to it as for silver stuff, with a rich eggshell texture. It looks perfect whatever you call it. The second dial is just as stunning, a velvety cloud de Paris guilloche, that displays a second time zone, thanks to the clever manually wound caliber 854A/2. The dial textures are highlighted by the polished applied numerals and simple dauphine hands, and, in the case of the second dial, the matte finish of the inset dials.  
While the aim at the perfect timepiece is far away from the rough-and-tumble Reversos of yore, there’s no mistaking the clarity line and shape that is a defining characteristic of the Reverso, and the combination of heritage style and precious metal in this Tribute Duoface makes for a potent combination.
